Seren Steps was founded with a clear purpose: to provide exceptional therapeutic care for children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity. Our name, "Seren" meaning "Star" in Welsh, reflects our belief that every child has the potential to shine.
Based in the beautiful valleys of South Wales, we offer a nurturing environment where young people can heal, grow, and develop the resilience they need to thrive. Our homes are more than just places to stay – they are genuine family homes where children can feel safe, valued, and understood.
We are proud to operate as a not-for-profit organisation, meaning that every resource we have goes directly into the care and support of our young people. Our commitment to reinvesting in our services ensures that we can continue to provide the highest standard of therapeutic care.
